SYNOPSIS
Azubike
True Tales of a Teenager’s village Life in Africa
Africa is a place of incredible struggle; this epic struggle has no boundary cutting across parents, their children, wards and who else. Some reports show that in some African villages, towns and even countries, families eke out living at less than $6 per day!
Azubike is a true tale of a teenager’s life in such a village not too better than what was described above. It is a tale of responsible, struggling and excelling African teenage boy. Azubike from the age of 9 had no choice than to help his parents in doing some of their most tedious jobs they had to do to keep the body and soul together. However that meant he had little time to devote to his studies but if he hopes to break out of circle of poverty reading his books he must. What is more whether he has time to read his books or not, he had to take the same examination with children who had comparatively nothing to distract them from their studies and his parents expects him to do as well as those children or even beat them!
Azubike is bringing to your reading desk a tale of industry, resilience, doggedness, studiousness, accountability, adventure, excellence and surprisingly fun!
